About us

 Deep in the Småland forest lies our small farm Skälshult. Here time passes a little slower and the scents, colors and sounds of nature are constantly around us. This is where we draw our strength and our inspiration - from still lakes, sun-warmed pine trees and meadows filled with herbs and wild flowers.

Here, in a little red cottage on the farm, we make our soap. Everything is done by hand, in small batches, slowly and in step with the seasons. We stir, pour and shape each soap ourselves. Nature has its own rhythm, and we follow it.

Each soap is carefully scented to reflect the tranquility of the forest, the freshness of the water and the sun-warmed herbs of the meadow.

When you use one of our soaps, we hope you feel the place it comes from, the silence, the greenery, the darkness of the forest and the light of the clearing. The fresh, the earthy, the calming. A little piece of the forest, in your home, wherever you are.

Who are we?
Our names are Mariana and Martin. Sixteen years ago we left Stockholm to find our own peace in the rural areas. Here in our own wilderness, far away from neighbors and the pulse of civilization, we have built our home together with our dog Fuffens and the mini pigs Doris and Mr. Darcy. Our life in the countryside has taught us to slow down, to appreciate what grows around us and the joy of creating with our hands.

Our soaps are not just soap - they are a piece of our life out here, a reminder that there is time to stop and enjoy the simple things.

Our vision is to offer products that combine quality and simplicity with a rustic and natural style, with roots in the Småland forest.

Our brand is called Enhu, which stands for us - ENestedt and HUgosson.

We are registered in CPNP/Swedish Medicines Agency.
We are members of the Swedish Business Producers' Responsibility.

All our ingredients come from suppliers in Sweden and Europe, with high standards for safety and sustainability for both humans and the environment.
